Those relationships and his proven track record led to an opportunity with Mabus Farm and General Contracting (MFGC Inc.), where Chris now serves as a Superintendent. In this role, he oversees construction projects from start to finish, coordinating subcontractors, managing timelines, and ensuring each project meets the highest standards. Chris takes great pride in his work, bringing decades of experience, leadership, and a commitment to excellence to every job.

Chris is originally from Maine, where he developed a strong work ethic at an early age and a passion for golf that led him to play competitively. He began working in construction at just eight years old, learning alongside his father and gaining hands-on experience that would shape his future in the industry.

As he grew, Chris played an integral role in helping manage and expand his family’s business, CB Painting and Remodeling. Through this work, he built a strong network of relationships across New England and developed a reputation for quality craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail.

After meeting his wife, Kendra, the two were drawn to start a new chapter in Arizona. What began as a fresh start quickly turned into a successful venture, as Chris built lasting connections and launched First Choice Painting and Home Services. His dedication to excellence and strong word-of-mouth helped the business thrive. During their 13 years in Arizona, Chris and Kendra were married and welcomed two children, Cody and Lucy.


Eventually, the family felt called back to the East Coast and settled in Vass, North Carolina. Chris once again built his business from the ground up, quickly earning a reputation for his precision, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality work.
